Our Membership For full membership you must be 55 yrs or older. Associate membership is available to adults aged from 18 - 55 years. Correspondence schooling or 'Distance Learning' as we call it, is available for those who haven't access to either our facility in Christchurch or other Senior-Net facilities in New Zealand Our Society We are a non-profit organisation and all staff and officers are volunteers Our Courses We offer a range 8 hour courses especially written by Seniors on how to operate the Apple Macintosh computers and learn the software programs that are used by these computers. See Courses on the index Our Workshops A wide variety of workshops are offered. They are 2 hours in length although some can be of longer duration depending on the subject.. Subjects can vary from minor computer problems member may have to they latest in technology such as digital cameras, cell phones, internet banking, video conferencing etc. Check out our Workshop Program on the index Our Socials & (Luncheon is Optional)These are very successful. They are held on the 4th Wednesday of every month (except December and January) between 1.15 p.m. and 3 p.m. These times suit the many grand parents among us so that they can still pick up children from schools. Our guest speakers are professionals and subjects can cover a wide variety of worldly topic. Afternoon tea is supplied. Check out some of our past socials on our News page. Open Days Our rooms are open to all members and public every Friday morning between 10am and 12 noon. This allows members to present any problems they have or catch up on classes missed. Professional advice and help is available to members with computer problems (A small fee is sometimes requested for this) Subscription Rates Full membership $30 Single and $50 per
